Salary Korea (“the site”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the site handles and how.

1. What you enter in the calculator never leaves your device

The schedule, wages, salary and payslip items you enter in the calculator and payslip check are calculated only inside your device (browser). They are never sent to or stored on our servers.

• So you don’t have to type everything again next time, your inputs are saved only in your browser’s local storage (localStorage).
• Not even the site operator can see this information.
• To delete it, use the clear buttons on the page or delete site data for salarykorea.com in your browser settings.
• Result images are created on your device and do not contain names, company names or similar information.

2. Information processed automatically

The site is delivered through Cloudflare. When you open the site, connection information such as your IP address, browser type and time of visit may be processed by Cloudflare for security (blocking attacks) and to deliver the service. The site operator does not use this information to identify individuals.

Visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

To improve the site, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics for visitor statistics.

• It does not use cookies and does not track or identify individual visitors.
• The operator sees only totals, such as visits per page, country, device and browser type, and which site visitors came from.
• Salary information you enter in the calculators is never included.

3. Advertising and cookies

The site may display Google AdSense advertising.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve personalized ads to you.
• You can turn off personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center. You can opt out of other vendors’ personalized ads at www.aboutads.info.

4. Contact emails

If you email us through the Contact page, we receive your email address and message.

• Purpose: only to reply and fix errors.
• Retention: deleted once your inquiry is resolved, but we may keep it for up to one year in case the same issue comes up again.
• Sharing: we do not share it with anyone unless required by law.
• Please do not send sensitive information such as your resident registration number, alien registration number or bank account number.

5. Children

The site is a service for workers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.

6. Your rights

You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete emails you have sent us. Please contact us by email through the Contact page.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the changes and the new effective date on this page.
